Dr. Pankaj Jain, an Ophthalmologist/ Eye Surgeon with over 45 years of experience, has been consulting at MEI Central Delhi for many years. He practices at Apollo Spectra Hospitals, Karol Bagh.

He completed his MBBS and his M.S. Opthalmology in 1979 from G.R. Medical College, Jiwaji University, Gwalior, MP. He was the first person to work as a Senior Resident at MEI from 1980-84 . He’s been a Senior consultant at R.B. Seth Jessa ram hospital, Delhi and Senior Consultant and HOD Opthalmology at Jaipur Golden Hospital, New Delhi. He was also Senior Consultant and HOD Opthalmology at Deepak Memorial Hospital, Delhi.

Dr. Jain presently works as a Senior Consultant at Mohan Eye Institute, Sant Parmanand Hospital, Civil lines and Nazar Surana Charitable Hospital. He has given over 30 presentations and papers in National and State conferences. He has also been a part of many clinical research papers on the topics like Effect of superior vs temporal incision on astigmatism after suture less phacoemulsofication (in 2009) and Study the effect of the amount of intraocular pressure and macular thickness in ND yag laser Capsulotomy (2017), amongst others.
